It was pretty late at night by the time they finally reached the Canadian border. As he drove closer to the border he couldn't help but feel a little nervous. They'd only ask a few questions, right? "You weren't exactly smelling fresh as roses yourself," He teased back, cuddling close to her. He knew they had so much to decide, like where to go and things they needed to do like pick up new clothes, but it was too comfortable just lying with him like this.

"I wouldn't have let you touch me when I was that smelly either," she smiled, pouting and nuzzling with a soft moan into his pulse.

"In case it would tarnish my image of you?" He asked playfully, running his fingers through her long blond hair.

"Yes," she chirped, her eyes softening under his brushing fingers. "You have to always believe my hair is done and I never skip a shower," she murmured. Even if she was kidding, it was sort of true--Elle liked looking good in general, and especially for Gabriel. Wasn't it only a few weeks ago she'd practically worn negligee to a tutoring session?

"You do realize I've seen what you look like when you first wake up, right?" He asked, raising a brow curiously at her. He didn't care how much or how little she put into her appearance though, she was always beautiful to him.

"Nope," she denied, sticking her nose up and shaking her head. He totally had not, even if he had.

"Yes, I have," He insisted, pressing a playful kiss against the tip of her nose. "I've seen you groggy eyed with bed hair, and it's absolutely adorable."
