Gabriel was sitting in the chair in the bathroom, waiting for Elle. After all, she had promised to cut his hair for him. It really was getting long, even for his taste. Now when he tried to slick it back, it gave him a sort of douchebag look. Not appealing, really.

Finally, he heard the door slam, letting him know Elle was back. "Did you find someplace that sold the supplies you needed?" He called out in a curious fashion.

She sighed and tried not to roll her eyes, knowing it would only agitate him more, but she saw no reason to be ashamed of it. "Who else would it be, Gabriel?" she asked. She hadn't liked any of the other prisoners nearly as much. At least Adam had been nice to her.

"I don't know," He snapped a little in annoyance. "You could have gotten close to some other prisoner you just haven't told me about yet."

He was being irrational, he knew that, but he couldn't help it.

She huffed and threw the comb and scissors into the sink with a little too much force, and they clattered. "What is with you thinking I'm some kind of hussy?" she shot back, flushing with anger. "I've only been with three men. Three." That wasn't a lot at all. And the only one she'd kept having sex with was Adam, anyway.

"Maybe it's because you act like one," He hissed, standing to his feat now. "You dress in skimpy outfits, taunt me with your past relationships, flirt with other men in front of me, and then get mad if I get jealous. What do you expect?"

She narrowed her eyes, stumbling to her feet, and reached out her hands to shove him. "What are your issues?" she yelled. "I dress like every other normal girl, I only bring up Adam because you ask about him anymore, and smiling isn't flirting, dummy," she listed off. "And I do not act like a hussy!" she added furiously.

"You do, you do things to make me jealous, and then get upset if I'm angry with you," He snapped back in anger. "What do you want with me?"

"I'm just teasing you!" she said, blushing. She was just teasing, but it was true; she wanted to get him jealous. But not angry. "It's not my fault you're so possessive you revert back into a caveman if you're reminded other men have touched me! Years ago!"

"I do not turn into a caveman," He hissed. Even though yeah, he sort of did.

"Please," she scoffed. "I just have to say his name and you act like I've mortally offended you!"

"How would you like it if I brought up some of my exes?" He snapped back.

"You asked about it!" she yelled incredulously. "It's not like I could lie! Would you have wanted me to lie?"

"Well, I might have, before," He muttered softly. Sometimes, always knowing if someone was lying or not was a real pain in the ass.

She rolled her eyes and crossed her arms, her lips twitching with anger. "I think you owe me an apology for calling me a slut. Twice in two days."

"I didn't call you a slut," He shot back. Because he didn't. Okay, so maybe he implied it, a little, but he didn't say it. He didn't see any reason to apologize.

Her eyes flashed at his denial, and she took a step closer. Her arms dropped, and her fists crackled with bright, hot electricity. "You might as well have," she hissed through clenched teeth. "Is that what you really think of me?" No matter how angry she was, the thought still burned. "Am I just some whore to you because I don't dress like Suzy Homemaker and I've slept with other guys?"

"Believe me Elle," He hissed darkly, grabbing her wrist as he pulled her closer to him, ignoring how her sparks jumped out and burnt his skin, cauing him to wince a little. "If I thought you were just a whore, I wouldn't bother fucking you all the time. I have standards."

"Oh well, that's comforting," she spat, trying to tug away from him. "So you just like calling me one because you're an asshole."

"You're the one who read into my words too much and called yourself a whore, not me" He hissed, tightening his hand around hers a little bit more now.

"I read into your words 'too much'?" she parroted, lifting her other arm to pound against his shoulder, pulling hard, trying to get away from him. "You just told me I act like a hussy, you big jerk!"

"No, you called yourself that," He hissed, pulling her in closer. "I just didn't disagree with you."

Her wrist chaffed under the pressure of his grip dragging her closer, and she sneered viciously. "Not disagreeing makes it so much better," she growled up into his face. "What about you, Gabriel? You're hardly a fucking saint. How many girls have you slept with? Why does it make me a slut and it's perfectly excusable for you?"

"I slept with two girls, other than you, and neither of them very many times," Only once or twice, really. He had been rather inexperienced before Elle. "And you're the one who always calls me a prude and throws your experience in my face," He spat.

She burned red in the face, and this time she pushed against him instead of trying to lurch away. "I don't throw it in your face!" Although she did call him a prude sometimes. And maybe she threw it in his face last night. "Why does it matter how many and how much to you?" Because she didn't care. As long as he didn't love them, she couldn't care about it like he did.

"It doesn't," He hissed. and it's almost the truth. In reality, even just one man before him would be too many for him, really. It was irrational, but he never claimed to be rational.

"Let go of me," she growled, and finally zapped his hand really hard, stumbling back with the momentum of her pull. She glared up at him, her fury building, and spat, "Could have fooled me."
